Artist Bio
Welcome to my studio! I create sculptural relief paintings in heavy body acrylic. Most pieces start with a piping bag and tips: I pipe the flowers first, then build the rest of the canvas around them, working in layers until the surface takes on real dimension.
I'm now exploring a new direction that combines hand-built clay forms with acrylic paint. I spent 15 years as a hand-building potter before I turned to painting, so working in clay again feels like familiar ground.
By Adrienne Art is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We donate up to 60% of every art sale to community outreach and charitable partners, including TABLE Inc., which works to end childhood hunger in Orange County, NC.
